This simulator is meant to demonstrate the affects of shutter, aperture, and ISO on the exposure of a photograph.
The principals apply to both film and digital cameras.
There are three primary affects that can be observed.
- Aperture - The higher the number, the smaller the opening size, and the greater the depth of field.
- Shutter - The slower the shutter, the more moving objects such as the people, will blur.
- ISO - The higher the ISO, the more sensitive the film or sensor is. Side effect is the higher the number, the greater the noise.
